Sometimes a program involves a speaker presenting an idea; other times it might be a Q&A, a multi-sided debate or a theatrical production. Through all of the events, the Issues Committee strives to reflect the diversity of values in the university community.

Women’s Coordinating Council/WCC
The Women’s Coordinating Council is a student committee of the University Central Program Council that plans, implements, and evaluates programs focusing on women’s issues from a feminist perspective. Through these programs and events, WCC seeks to educate and empower women and the campus community. Take Back the Night, Vagina Monolouges and Women’s HERstory Month are annually hosted by the WCC.

Visual Arts Committee/VAC
The purpose of the Visual Arts Committee is to promote appreciation of the visual arts by exposing the university community to a variety of artistic ventures and educational displays. This is done through various forms of programming including exhibits, live demonstrations, permanent purchases, and lectures intended to illuminate new perspectives and address pertinent questions of the campus-wide audience. Each year the VAC features the Time Capsule Photo Booth, Fall Fest and the Student Art Competition.
