The Central Program Council is comprised of the seven organizations listed below.

All Campus Events/ ACE
The purpose of the All Campus Events Committee is to sponsor Homecoming competitions, All-Sing and Carnicus.  The goal is to provide the students, faculty, and the staff of the University of Tennessee, as well as the Knoxville community, with high quality performances and events.

Cultural Attractions Committee/ CAC
The purpose of the Cultural Attractions Committee is to provide high quality, culturally stimulating performance art events at a relatively low cost. CAC strives to always bring a variety of dance and musical events to the UT area.

Campus Entertainment Board/ CEB
The purpose of the Campus Entertainment Board is to provide vibrant and entertaining social programs to all UTK students. These programs range from after-dark events like Rocky Top Rave where you can dance the night away to illusionists, comedians and live musical artists. Campus Entertainment Board is also the home of Vol Night Long where students can enjoy safe and fun late-night programming!

Film Committee
The purpose of Film Committee is to provide a wide variety of films and film-related programming to the university community for educational and entertainment reasons. Film Committee proudly features the Zombie Walk, Rocky Horror Picture Show, and cult classic, The Room, annually.

Issues Committee
The purpose of the Issues Committee is to bring interesting and informative issues to campus.  The Issues Committee programs towards ideas and topics that will stimulate and enrich the university community and spark dialogue amongst students.  These programs are flexible in nature. Sometimes a program involves a speaker presenting an idea; other times it might be a Q&A, a multi-sided debate or a theatrical production. Through all of the events, the Issues Committee strives to reflect the diversity of values in the university community.

Women’s Coordinating Council/WCC
The Women’s Coordinating Council is a student committee of the University Central Program Council that plans, implements, and evaluates programs focusing on women’s issues from a feminist perspective. Through these programs and events, WCC seeks to educate and empower women and the campus community. Take Back the Night, Vagina Monolouges and Women’s HERstory Month are annually hosted by the WCC.

Visual Arts Committee/VAC
The purpose of the Visual Arts Committee is to promote appreciation of the visual arts by exposing the university community to a variety of artistic ventures and educational displays. This is done through various forms of programming including exhibits, live demonstrations, permanent purchases, and lectures intended to illuminate new perspectives and address pertinent questions of the campus-wide audience. Each year the VAC features the Time Capsule Photo Booth, Fall Fest and the Student Art Competition.
